Welcome to the 12 Days of Holiday Mocktails!

We’re kicking off our Holiday Mocktail Countdown in style with the Winter Wonderland Slush, a frosty masterpiece that will transport your taste buds to a magical, snow-covered escape. This isn’t just a winter beverage—it’s a celebration of the season, blending the sweetness of cranberries and strawberries with a zing of lime and the sparkling fizz of lemon-lime soda. Garnished with sugar-coated cranberries and fresh mint, this slush is the perfect way to toast the holidays.

The best part? It’s quick and easy to whip up, taking only 5-7 minutes to prepare. Whether you’re hosting a festive soirée or just treating yourself, this recipe is sure to delight.

Why Start With the Winter Wonderland Slush?

Because nothing says “holiday vibes” like sipping on a short Collins glass filled with icy, crimson perfection. It’s refreshing, festive, and will have your guests wondering what other surprises you have in store like the CANNED CRANBERRY SAUCE you'll use to make it. How about that for a little controversy, huh?

Now grab your blender and get ready to make this season sparkle!

Let’s get into it. Check out the video tutorial here.

Ingredient List for 4 Servings:

  • Cranberry Juice - 2 Cups
  • Strawberry Puree - 1 Cup
  • Lemon-Lime Soda - 1 Cup
  • Fresh Lime - 1
  • Jellied Cranberry Sauce (Yes, from the can!) *Optional*
  • Ice

Garnish:

  • Cranberries (Fresh or frozen)
  • Sugar (For rim and to coat cranberries)
  • Mint

To a blender: Add the cranberry juice, strawberry puree, juice from one whole lime, your lemon-lime soda, and ice.

*If you’re feeling bold and adventurous, add a few slices of jellied cranberry sauce too (Yes, the canned cranberry sauce that people use for Thanksgiving!)*

Blend until your mixture is slushy.

Add more ice if the mixture is thinner than you’d prefer. Add more of any liquid ingredient if it’s thicker than you’d prefer.

To prep your glasses: Pour 2 tablespoons of sugar onto a plate. Using one half of the lime you squeezed, moisten the rim of your glasses and roll in the sugar on your plate to create a beautiful, snowy rim.

Pour your slush mixture into each glass. If you have room left in the glass, feel free to top with more lemon-lime soda.

To make your sugar dusted cranberries: Grab a bowl or use the same sugar plate you just used and add cranberries to it. Grab the other half of the lime you squeezed into the slushy and coax all remaining juice out and onto the cranberries. Now, sprinkle sugar on top of the cranberries and stir. Make sure the cranberries are well-coated for that super wintry, holiday touch!

Now, garnish your slush with the cranberries, add a sprig of mint, and sip to your heart's content!

*To turn this mocktail into a cocktail, swap out the lemon-lime soda for Prosecco or your favorite champagne.
