Apple Cider Sangria – The Ultimate Holiday Crowd-Pleaser

It's Day 3 of the 12 Days of Holiday Mocktails, and the countdown continues with a show-stopping holiday mocktail: Apple Cider Sangria!

Today, we’re crafting the ultimate crowd-pleaser--a delightful mix of crisp apple cider, juicy seasonal fruits like pears and oranges, sparkling apple-cranberry juice, and the warm sweetness of caramel and cinnamon. It's the definition of festive perfection and is guaranteed to elevate your celebrations this season!

Caramel and cinnamon are favorites this time of year. Notice how two of the three mocktails we've made so far in the series have included both ingredients?

Garnished with a sprig of rosemary, this sangria is as stunning as it is delicious (if I do say so myself)! Its versatile and can be served warm for those cozy nights by the fire with family or chilled for a refreshing twist at your holiday parties. The best part? It’s quick to make and perfect for large groups, making it a go-to addition to any holiday menu.

Pro-tip: Prep it in advance and let it chill for a day or two so the flavors can meld together. The fruit will soak up all the goodness of the sangria and spices, and your guests won’t stop talking about it!

There's no right or wrong way to make this beauty. Frankly, there are no measurements either. There's a freedom in that that I absolutely love and makes it fun for everyone to add their own twist to the recipe.

Watch us make it here.

It starts with apple cider, which can be homemade or store-bought. You choose!

Apple cider’s irresistible taste comes from its rich, natural balance of sweet and tart flavors. Made from freshly pressed apples, cider captures the essence of the fruit at its peak ripeness, blending the crisp sweetness of varieties like Fuji or Gala with the tangy punch of Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.

What sets cider apart is its depth and complexity. Unlike clear apple juice, cider retains the natural pulp and fibers of the fruit, giving it a fuller body and a more robust flavor. When spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, or cloves, it transforms into a cozy, aromatic delight that’s perfect for fall and winter. Whether paired with holiday dishes or sipped solo, apple cider is the ultimate way to enjoy the pure, nostalgic taste of apples.

Are you a fan of apples?

Drop us a line and share your favorite type. I'm a Gala girl, myself.

Till tomorrow, cheers and happy sipping!
